  Masala tea, green tea , lemon tea or be it anything,as soon as we wake up,we need our cup of tea. Normally, we make tea from loose leaves.But for convenience’s sake big companies started selling tea in teabags. We just have to dip it in hot water or milk and our tea is ready. The problem is in the teabags itself. At a glance 

Many people use tea bags. Tea bags are often used in what seems like a paper bag but to keep the seal and shape of teabags intact in hot water some brands are mixing polypropylene in it, which is a type of plastic. When this teabag gets mixed with hot water,billions of microplastic get released in the tea.


According to recent research 

In Canada's McGill University one tea bag can release 11.6 billion microplastics.Microplastics are plastics which are smaller than 5mm are called microplastic.So basically, we are eating plastic!

    What a brilliant thought need to really introspected for the sake of saving 10 min of time, what we are doing with our health. Ignoring small things can cause big impacts like cancer.
