Glas is a material which can be made from bio available resources. Like sand,soda ash and limestone. 

Recycling

Plastic is a material whose quality deteriorates by recycling.

Glass is 100% recyclable. Which means it can be recycled numerous times without any quality loss.

Cheaper 

Plastic can be moulded into any shape while using less energy.

To make glass products,it costs more as it requires a lot of heat to shape it.

Impact on health 

Harmful chemicals are leached from plastic which get transferred into food which impacts our health negatively.  

Glass is such a material through which no harmful chemicals are leached.

Durability 

Plastic is more durable.

Glass breaks easily.

Impact on environment 

Plastic’s quality gets worse due to which recycled product’s get down.

Although glass products require more energy but it can be used multiple times until it’s broken.it can be turned into the same product again.
